John Barrett

John Barrett is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, privacy, and litigation. As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at PSA BDP since October 2019, John has played crucial roles in global privacy and data security. Prior to that, John was a member at Bennett Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC, co-chairing the Privacy and Data Security Department, and served as a partner at Swartz Campbell. John began legal practice at Rawle & Henderson, specializing in insurance defense and construction litigation. Additionally, John has a distinguished military career as a Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) in the US Army Reserves, serving as a JAG officer. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and a Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Cornell University.
