Shawn Sim is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with a strong focus on ocean freight management. Currently serving as Director - Ocean at PSA BDP since January 2023, Shawn specializes in the China Ocean Export market, carrier services, and global supply chain impacts. Previously, as Assistant Vice President, Ocean Freight Pricing at PSA International, direct carrier relationships were established to protect commercial interests. Shawn also held significant roles at MSD as Asia Pacific Transportation Manager, ensuring efficient product transportation, and at Kerry Logistics as General Manager - Regional Ocean Freight, where relationships with carriers were developed to achieve competitive rates in Southeast Asia. Additional experience includes leadership roles at DHL Global Forwarding, Expeditors Singapore, and CEVA Logistics, with a foundational education in Business Administration (Marketing) from Bangor University.
