Brian Welk

Brian Welk has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 1997, they worked as a CNC Machinist at Bobcat Company, operating and programming CNC machines. From 2004 to 2012, they owned and managed various pizza franchises, focusing on customer service and profitability. Brian then served as a Regional Manager at Hoogland Foods, LLC, overseeing the transition of a video store into the pizza industry. At DH Pace Company, Inc., they worked as an Estimator and later as a Residential Installation Manager, turning a division from a loss leader to a profit center. Brian then took on roles at Lucky's Market, where they were a Pricing Analyst - Produce and an Assistant Store Director, and at O'Toole's Garden Centers, where they worked as a Manager. At Mission Yogurt, Inc., they served as a Purchasing and Pricing Analyst. Currently, they are working at PSA Security Network as a Pricing Manager, focusing on e-commerce and web product management. Through their 10+ years of experience in product management, merchandising, advertising, and analytics, they have developed well-rounded strategies and a passion for utilizing data to improve the online customer experience and optimize webstore operations.

Brian Welk attended Dakota College at Bottineau from 1985 to 1986, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Before that, from 1984 to 1985, they were enrolled at Valley City State University, also majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. Brian has not obtained a degree from either institution. In terms of additional certifications, they earned a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential from the American Academy of Professional Coders in October 2022. Brian also received the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship from Udacity in January 2018.
