Angela Mitchell

Angela Mitchell has over two decades of experience in employee relations and human resources. Currently serving as Employee Relations Manager at Velera since April 2024, Angela previously held the position of Lead Advisor Employee Relations at PSCU from July 2022. Between January and July 2022, Angela was the Regional Human Resources Director at Atria Senior Living, and from May to December 2021, Angela worked as Employee Relations Manager at Holiday Retirement. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Farmers Home Furniture, where Angela spent over 20 years in various employee relations roles, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws across 225 stores. Angela began professional career as a Social Service Specialist/Resource Development at Laurens County Department of Family and Children Services. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Georgia College & State University.
