Derek Hallal

Derek Hallal is a seasoned engineering program manager with extensive experience in leading product development and operations across various tech companies. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Program Manager at pSemi, a Murata Company, Derek manages global cross-functional teams for the PMIC portfolio and has successfully launched a Power product portfolio Business Unit, achieving a significant reduction in manufacturing lead time. Previous roles include Program Management Consultant at Cisco and Senior Manager at Lumentum, where Derek spearheaded the development of semiconductor optical modulators. As the founder of T and R International LLC, Derek innovated medical device prototypes for remote patient monitoring and unified third-party medical devices under a single platform. With a strong background at Qualcomm and AppliedMicro, Derek directed major product line developments generating substantial revenue. Derek holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northrop University and has furthered education through Harvard Business School Online.
