Melanie MacKay has extensive experience in education and retail, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for the Chignecto Central Regional School Board since May 2015 and working as a Sales Associate for Pseudio since June 2012. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from St. Francis Xavier University, obtained between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the same institution, completed in 2012. Additionally, Melanie coordinated the Pictou County Seniors' Festival in 2011, where responsibilities included organizing, promoting, and executing the annual event and its activities.
