Justin Kim is a Research Scholar at SRC Research Scholars Program, currently engaged in the JUMP 2.0 CogniSense Task 1 since January 2023. As a Graduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara since August 2022, Justin has achieved successful tapeouts in 22nm CMOS, 45nm BiCMOS SOI, and 90nm BiCMOS technologies. In addition, Justin works as a Design Engineer at PseudolithIC, focusing on heterogeneous transceiver design at X and Ka-Band, and has received recognition for winning 1st Place Industry Paper at RFIC 2024. Previous experience includes undergraduate research roles under Professor Jim Buckwalter and Professor David Stuart at UC Santa Barbara, as well as a Project Coordinator position at Cupertino Electric, Inc. Justin holds a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
