Ale Burdiss

Ale Burdiss is an undergraduate student at the University of South Carolina, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Counseling Education, expected to graduate early in Spring 2024. Ale serves as the President of Psi Chi and has taken on roles as a tutor for first-generation students and a mentor with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, focusing on at-risk youth. With a strong commitment to child development and mental health advocacy, Ale volunteers regularly at hospice facilities and Prisma Health. As a Palmetto Fellow and the oldest of seven, Ale values education and demonstrates resilience in pursuing a future career as a psychologist.
