Emily Mi

Emily Mi is a fourth-year biopsychology major and spatial studies minor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. They are engaged in various research projects, focusing on the molecular and cellular underpinnings of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as contributing to studies in the LGBTQ+ field. Emily has served as Co-President of Psi Chi, where they developed newsletters and organized events to enhance member involvement, and they have held leadership roles in the Marginalized Genders in Gaming organization. Additionally, they have gained research experience in multiple labs at UCSB, analyzing data and assisting in studies related to emotional coherence and mate choice. Their ambition is to pursue graduate studies in the future.
