Chris Witowski

As the fifth employee of a top five private medical cannabis company in the country (AltMed Enterprises/Verano Holdings), he has helped design and build multiple facilities and labs around the country and launched an international product line. Dr. Witowski is co-Inventor on multiple patents including multiple drug delivery systems for increasing the bioavailability of cannabinoids and terpenes and the discovery of Antarctic sponge terpenoids with antibiotic and anti-viral activity. He has personally witnessed the devastation of Alzheimer’s disease, depression, and dispassionate end-of-life cancer treatments which led him to co-found Psilera Bioscience to use psychoactive natural products as a starting point to treat mental health afflictions and significantly improve the lives of patients.
