Doug Chabinsky

Doug Chabinsky has extensive work experience in the engineering and defense industry. Doug is currently the Head of Space and Defense Engineering at Psionic Technologies since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at L-3 from May 2016 to April 2019 as the Director of Engineering, where they implemented a Stage Gate process for engineering, operations, and program management and contributed to AS9100 certification. At BAE Systems, they held the position of Product Line Engineering Lead from June 2005 until the present. In this role, they were responsible for engineering execution and performance on programs, reviewed and approved engineering bids, and led engineering groups of up to 350 engineers. Before that, they were a Functional Manager at BAE Systems from 1998 to 2005, where they managed various departments, responsible for employee performance and development, hiring, and program performance. Doug also created and managed an optical engineering department to address quality issues.
