Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is the current Chief Technologist at PsiQuantum. Mark has also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol and as a Research & Development Engineer at Bookham Technology and BICC Cables / Corning Cable Technology Centre.

Mark Thompson has a long history of working in research and development, with a focus on engineering. Mark has been working in the field for over 25 years and has been involved with some of the most cutting-edge technological advances during that time.

Thompson’s work at PsiQuantum has been instrumental in developing the company’s technology roadmap. Mark has also played a key role in commercializing the company’s technology and taking it to market. In addition to their work at PsiQuantum, they have also authored numerous papers and patents in the field of quantum computing.

Mark Thompson has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and an MPhys in Physics from The University of Sheffield.
