Sukin Sim

Sukin (Dylan) Sim is a Senior Quantum Applications Architect at PsiQuantum since April 2022, specializing in the development of software tools for circuit and physical resource estimations and optimizations, as well as compiling fault-tolerant algorithms in chemistry and physics. Sim serves on the Advisory Board of Unitary Fund and previously held the position of Quantum Research Scientist at Zapata Computing, Inc., where contributions included research on early fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and analyses of near-term quantum algorithms. At Harvard University, a PhD was earned in Chemical Physics with a focus on algorithm development for near-term quantum computers, alongside roles as a Teaching Fellow and a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow. Sim also has research experience from internships at Zapata Computing, Berkeley Lab, and as a Research Assistant at Wellesley College, where investigations into nucleic acid binding of antimicrobial peptides were conducted.
