Alejandro Angel

Alejandro Angel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alejandro began their career as a Consulting Engineer at Integral S.A. in 1998, where they worked until 2000. Alejandro then joined MMLA as a Civil Designer in 2002, and later became a Project Engineer from 2003 to 2004.

In 2005, Alejandro joined Psomas as a Traffic Engineering Manager, a position they held until 2009. Alejandro then took on the role of Vice President/Arizona Transportation Team Leader at Psomas from 2009 to 2016. In 2015, they were promoted to Vice President/Arizona Regional Manager, a position they held until 2021. Additionally, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Psomas since 2015.

In 2012, Alejandro also joined the Arizona Board of Technical Registration as a Board Member, and later became the Chairman from 2017 to 2018.

Most recently, Alejandro served as the Vice President/Corporate Director of Engineering, Transportation & Public Works at Psomas, starting in January 2020.

Alejandro Angel's education history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at Universidad EAFIT to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering. Alejandro completed their undergraduate studies in 1999. Continuing their academic journey, Alejandro then joined the University of Arizona in 2000, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation. Alejandro successfully completed this program in 2002. Alejandro's pursuit of knowledge did not end there, as they went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Traffic Engineering from the University of Arizona, graduating in 2008.
