Brian Bullock

Vice President, Northern California Surveys at Psomas

Brian Bullock has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying. Brian started their career as a Senior Project Surveyor at Mid-Valley Engineering in March 1992, where they conducted boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking surveys for site and subdivision development. Brian also supervised and scheduled field operations for the company, and performed some site and subdivision design services.

In August 1993, Brian joined Nolte and Associates as the Chief of Surveys, a role they held until July 1995. During this time, they gained significant expertise in surveying support for levee systems, including control surveys, boundary and right of way surveys, and right of way engineering. Brian also provided expert survey support for eminent domain cases, construction support and verification surveys, and levee certification support.

Brian's next position was with Psomas, where they started in July 1995 as the Vice President, Northern California Surveys. In this role, they were responsible for the operations of the Roseville surveying group. Brian'sexpertise and clientele expanded to include the California Department of Water Resources, USACE Sacramento District, Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, Three River Levee Improvement Authority, Reclamation District 1000, American River Flood Control District, West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, and Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District.

In January 2016, Brian took on the role of Regional Manager at Psomas, overseeing operations in an expanded capacity until December 2021.

Overall, Brian Bullock's work experience showcases their proficiency in various aspects of surveying, particularly in support of levee systems, and their ability to manage and lead teams in the field.

Brian Bullock attended Walla Walla University from 1973 to 1975, where they studied Pre-Optometry. However, they did not obtain a degree from this institution. Following this, they attended California State University, Fresno from 1975 to 1979, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Surveying Engineering.
