Project Engineer at Psomas

Desiree Stevens began their work experience in 2013 as an Engineering Intern at Granite Construction. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Transportation Engineer at Associated Transportation Engineers, where they assisted with traffic engineering work and prepared reports summarizing engineering and traffic analyses. In 2015, they joined Psomas as a Project Engineer. In 2017, they became a Board Member at Elkins Ranch Company and also took on the role of Assistant Secretary. As Assistant Secretary, Desiree attended board meetings, counted shares of voting stockholders, and recorded and distributed official minutes.

Desiree Stevens attended California Polytechnic State University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In December 2011, they obtained certification as an Engineer In Training from the Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors & Geologists. Desiree furthered their education by obtaining the Envision Sustainability Professional certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure in June 2016. In December 2017, Desiree became a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Lastly, in February 2019, they obtained certification as a Qualified SWPPP Developer from the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA).
