Gilbert Galdo has extensive work experience in the field of surveying and drafting. Gilbert began their career in 1982 at Readio Land Survey, where they worked as a Drafter and Chainman. Gilbert'sresponsibilities included assisting the field crew as a chainman and drafting topographic and record maps. In 1983, they joined Pacific Land Services as a Chainman and Drafter. Gilbert then moved on to Land Data Services in 1984, where they held various roles including Drafter, CAD Drafter, and Chainman. In addition to field duties as a chainman, they also performed office duties such as hand drafting, CAD drafting, and survey calculations using scientific computers. Gilbert joined Psomas in 1987 as a Project Surveyor. Specific dates for their roles at Psomas are not provided.

Gilbert Galdo attended Seaside High School from 1976 to 1978. Gilbert then transferred to Frankfurt American High School in 1978, where they studied for a year. After completing high school, Gilbert pursued Civil Drafting and Civil Engineering CAD/CADD at Monterey Peninsula College from 1979 to 1983.
