Mia Higginbotham

Community Outreach Coordinator at Psomas

Mia Higginbotham has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2009, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Larry Robinson Play It Again Sports until 2012.

In 2015, Mia joined lululemon as a Seasonal Educator and worked until 2017.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked at the City of Torrance as a Community Services Leader III. In December 2018, they advanced to the role of Community Services Leader IV until April 2019.

Mia then worked as an Administrative Intern in the Office of Performance Management at the City of Santa Monica from April 2019 to April 2020.

In 2021, they became a City of Torrance Commissioner for the Historic Preservation Commission.

Currently, Mia is working at Psomas as a Community Outreach Coordinator, starting in April 2022.

Mia Higginbotham has an extensive education history. Mia obtained a Master of Public Administration - MPA degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach. Mia pursued this degree from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in History from the same university from 2015 to 2017. Mia also holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, which they earned from El Camino College from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Mia has acquired some certifications. Mia obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in April 2020. Prior to that, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Aveta Business Institute in May 2019.
