Sean Noonan

Project Manager - Ceqa/nepa at Psomas

Sean Noonan, AICP has over 10 years of experience in environmental planning and impact assessment. Sean is currently working as a Project Manager - CEQA/NEPA at Psomas since March 2019. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2019, they served as the Director of CEQA/NEPA Services at VCS Environmental.

Sean also has teaching experience as a Lecturer at California State University, Fullerton and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they taught courses on environmental impact assessment. Sean taught at both universities from 2016 to 2017.

In terms of their previous work experience, Sean worked as an Environmental Planner at Parsons Corporation from 2012 to 2016. Their responsibilities included preparing and managing environmental documents, conducting environmental analysis, and obtaining resource agency permits for various projects.

Additionally, Sean has worked in internship roles for the City of Anaheim and the City of Los Angeles, where they gained experience in transportation planning and urban forestry projects. During their time at these organizations, they successfully developed and managed grant applications for urban forestry projects.

Sean is known for their expertise in CEQA and NEPA regulations, project management skills, and their ability to effectively teach and communicate environmental impact assessment concepts.

Sean Noonan, AICP holds a Master of Arts degree in Geography from California State University, Fullerton. Sean furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, specializing in Environmental Planning, from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. In addition, they received training in USACE Wetland and Jurisdictional Delineation from the Wetland Training Institute. Sean also possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UC Santa Barbara. Furthermore, they have obtained the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification from the American Planning Association in June 2014.
