David Mateo

David Mateo has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2005 when they were an Agente Asociado for RE/MAX Real State Network in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara). In this role, they provided advice to clients looking to buy or sell their homes, and performed financial simulations to calculate the viability of operations. In 2007, they became a Delegado Provincial for J. R. A.

In 2009, they joined SANDEMANs NEW Europe Tours as Business Development Director, where they and their team worked with Operations, Marketing and Partner Relations to improve their product portfolio. In 2017, they expanded their department and took over the diversification strategy of the company, creating new departments such as Merchandise, Ad Sales, the Loyalty Program and a Digital City Map. David was then promoted to Regional Operations Director, responsible for running profitable and effective business units in three countries across Europe. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Board Member for CoBuilder Hub.

In 2019, they co-founded Psquared, a company with the mission to transform disused buildings into strategic real estate assets. In 2020, they co-founded We Are Grit, a platform to create and scale new ideas, and bdCicerone.

David Mateo has an extensive educational background. David obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Esade. David also participated in an International Study Tour at Georgetown University in 2019, focusing on Leading in a Global Context. In 2018, they completed an MBA Exchange Program at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, focusing on Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation. David also completed an MBA Exchange Program at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, focusing on Pricing and Revenue Optimization. David also participated in an International Study Tour at HEC Paris in 2018, focusing on Organizational Transformation and Change Management. Additionally, they completed an MBA International Study Tour at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focusing on Doing Business in China. In 2007-2008, they obtained an Executive Program in Marketing and Sales from Universidad Europea, with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Finally, they obtained a Law degree from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. in International Law and Legal Studies. In addition to their educational background, David obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI in October 2019.
