Silja Litvin has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and technology. In 2013, they started working as a self-employed psychologist, shortly after completing their Master's degree and beginning their PhD in Clinical Psychology. Silja also began training as a Systemic Family Therapist with the goal of opening a couple consulting practice in London.
In 2016, Silja worked as a Systemic Family Therapist at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust for 7 months before transitioning to become the Founder and CEO of PsycApps, a Mental Health Tech Company. At PsycApps, they focused on building platforms for patients and therapists to provide education and support for mental disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders.
In 2018, Silja took on the role of a Mental Health Expert at the Wonder Women Tech Foundation, where they likely contributed their expertise in the field. Silja continued to expand their professional network by becoming an Honorary Research Assistant at UCL in 2019.
Since 2017, Silja has been serving as the CEO of eQuoo - The Emotional Fitness Game, where they spearhead the development of an evidence-based game that teaches psychological skills through psycho-education, gamification, and storytelling.
Silja Litvin has a Master's degree in Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have a Graduate Certificate in Systemic Practice (Families and Couples) from the University of Bedfordshire, which they obtained in June 2016.
