Eric Nestler

Scientific Advisor at PsychoGenics

Dr. Nestler, the scientific co-founder of PsychoGenics, is a Nash Family Professor of Neuroscience, Director of the Friedman Brain Institute, and Dean for Academic and Scientific Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. He was formerly the Elizabeth Mears and House Jameson Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Division of Molecular Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and the McGinley Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. The focus of his research is molecular mechanisms underlying drug addiction and depression.
