Michael Cavanaugh

Michael Cavanaugh, CPA, currently serves as Controller at PsychPlus since March 2025. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Accountant at Talkiatry from October 2021 to April 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Tax Associate in the Real Estate division at Baker Tilly US from December 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included providing tax compliance and advisory services, reviewing financials and tax work papers, and participating in various tax research projects. Earlier roles at PKF O'Connor Davies, LLP as Audit & Tax Staff involved preparing tax returns for Tax Exempt Organizations and auditing government funds. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University, along with a Liberal Studies Major in American Studies.
