Matt Smithson

Matt Smithson is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in directing and leadership roles across several prominent companies. Currently serving as Partner and Creative Director at Igor + Valentine since October 2017, Matt is also represented by Psyop since June 2021. Prior experience includes directorial positions at Blacklist Productions from March 2014 to June 2021, Not To Scale from July 2006 to October 2019, Man vs Magnet from June 2006 to January 2018, and Curious Pictures from July 2006 to January 2012. Matt holds an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in Studio Art from the College of Charleston, where studies spanned from 1999 to 2003.
