Semih Tareen

Semih Tareen is an Executive Director in the field of biotechnology, currently leading a team focused on developing IND-enabling pipelines for gene and cell therapy using viral and nonviral vectors. They have held various leadership positions, including Director at Juno Therapeutics and Senior Director at Sana Biotechnology, where they specialized in molecular biology and cancer immunotherapy. Additionally, Semih served as a Director for the Seattle Turkish Film Festival, promoting Turkish cinema. They earned a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, complemented by extensive research experience in virology and gene therapy.
