Rutger Goekoop

Rutger Goekoop is a seasoned psychiatrist with extensive experience in mood disorders, currently serving at PsyQ in The Hague since September 2010. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Rutger holds the position of clinical manager for a large outpatient clinic, leading a multidisciplinary team. At Parnassia Groep since 2006, Rutger has engaged in innovative research focused on generative modeling of mental health issues and predictive psychiatry, and has coordinated fMRI studies on brain activation. Educational contributions include teaching complex psychopathology and mood disorders at RINO Utrecht and the University of Amsterdam. Rutger earned a PhD in Neurosciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MD from Leiden University.
