Lea Rubens

Lea Rubens is a GZ-psycholoog with extensive experience in the field of psychology, currently serving in the role at PSYTREC since August 2018, focusing on exposure and EMDR treatments for patients with severe PTSD. Since September 2011, Lea has also worked independently as a GZ-psycholoog, Kinder- en jeugdpsycholoog, and Contextueel therapeut, providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Prior to these roles, Lea was a GZ-psycholoog at Indigo from March 2007 to July 2018 and worked as a behandelcoördinator and GZ-psycholoog at Maatschappij Zandbergen (now Youké) from May 1995 to March 2007, where responsibilities included overseeing treatment for adolescents in residential care and foster care settings. Educational qualifications include a degree in Pedagogiek and Orthopedagogiek from Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht, obtained from 1988 to 1993, along with a VWO diploma from RSG de Springborn Epe, completed in 1988.
