PT. SYMPHOS ELECTRIC was established on 8 June 2011 and striving for excellence in producing distribution transformer with various rated power to meet the needs of PT. PLN (Persero).

Along with the increasing demand of electricity in Indonesia, the management of PT. SYMPHOS ELECTRIC has expanded and moved the factory to a new location, as well as adding new machineries equipped with the latest technology. The new location, located in Agarindo Industrial Estate, Cikupa -Tangerang, has a land area of 20,650 m2 and a factory area of 15,000 m2 and has been operational since 2017. Then, in September 2023, PT Symphos Electric merged with LS Electric, the largest electrical manufacturing company in Korea.

Complementing the transformer industry, the Company continues to develops innovative products, such as mobile sub-station units, tower substation, mobile cable units, mobile cubicle units, mobile cable and cubicle units, public electric charging stations , vertical stacked type distribution substation and low voltage electrical panels.

The company produces 25 kVA to 20,000 kVA oil immersed distribution transformer with rated voltage of up to 36 kV. The current facilities can produce 9000 units per year.

Transformer design refers to standard of PT. PLN (Persero), and has obtained type test certificate from PT. PLN (Persero) Electricity Research and Development Center. In addition, the company also participates in quality control system program organized by PT. PLN (Persero) Certification Center.

In addition to SPLN standard, the company also produces transformers with other standards according to customer request (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.) as well as transformers with special construction such as: tank with hot dip galvanized plate, tank painting with marine paint, extra cable box. The company's engineering team is always ready to discuss the design according to customers request.
