TALAMEDIA (was Tanakhir Films) was established in Indonesia in January 2013 by Mandy Marahimin and Nicholas Saputra. This company has a desire and ambitions to tell good Indonesian stories that will last the test of time. We produce feature films, documentaries, shorts, and web series. Our latest feature documentary, ISLANDS OF FAITH (SEMESTA), was released theatrically in January 2020 and is now streaming on Netflix. Our latest short film, THE SEA CALLS FOR ME (directed by Tumpal Tampubolon) won Sonje Award (Best Short Film) from Busan International Film Festival, and won Best Short Film from Festival Film Indonesia 2021.
