Dan Carroll

Dan Carroll is an Electro Technical Officer with extensive experience in the maritime and offshore sectors. Currently employed by PT Timas Suplindo since April 2022, Dan is directly hired for the T1201 pipelay vessel. Dan has served as an Assistant Facilitator and Trainer at MSTS Asia since 2020, contributing to role-playing examinations for Management of Major Emergencies (MME) for Shell employees. Previously, Dan held positions with various companies including Sapura Energy Berhad, Shearwater GeoServices, and Marine Assets Corporation DMCC, where responsibilities ranged from Chief ETO to Electrical Officer. Dan's educational background includes a Diploma in Kpos Maintenance from Kongsberg Maritime Training Center and various certifications in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Malaysian Maritime Academy and Challenger TAFE in Australia.
