John Gans

John Gans is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical and rare disease sectors. Currently serving as a Regional Account Manager at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2019, Gans specializes in sales concerning rare and ultra-rare diseases, including PKU and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, across multiple states including Minnesota, North & South Dakota, and Montana. Previously held roles include Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative at Amgen, where Gans launched a new product in the dialysis market and earned recognition as a three-time Chairman’s Circle Award winner, as well as positions at Shire, NPS Pharma, and Amgen with a focus on rare diseases and specialty products. Gans began a career in sales at Aventis, where responsibilities included selling injectable anti-thrombotic products to major hospitals. Gans holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Saint John's University.
