Alex Hill is a seasoned innovation engineer with extensive experience in technology development, particularly in augmented reality and virtual reality applications. Currently serving as Principal Innovation Engineer at PTC since June 2020, Alex previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering at CN2, Inc., where leadership focused on creating a PaaS for mobile technical documentation. As Chief Scientist at CN2, Alex was instrumental in shaping the company’s technology roadmap and involved in strategic initiatives, including business strategy and product development. Alex's academic background includes a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Mathematics from Trinity University.
