Brian Thompson is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product management and leadership within the CAD industry. Currently serving as Divisional Vice President and General Manager of PTC’s on-premises CAD Business since March 2009, Brian has held multiple senior roles at PTC, including Senior Vice President positions in both the CAD Segment and PTC Creo Product Management. Prior to PTC, Brian was an Engineering Manager at DynaVac and held the role of Product Manager at Parametric Technology Corporation. Brian began a career in technical product management at Helix Technology. Educational credentials include a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
