Chris Watson has over two decades of experience at PTC, currently serving as the Chief Architect for the Atlas SaaS Platform, where responsibilities include architectural oversight and fostering a strong architectural community. Watson has held various senior roles, including Senior Innovation Fellow in the Office of the CTO, leading initiatives to make products data-driven on a modern SaaS Data platform. Additional positions include VP of Development and Architecture, where Watson facilitated the development of MVP solutions and improved customer engagement, and Technical Vice President, advocating for microservice development best practices. Prior to PTC, Watson worked as a Software Engineer at Quintic and held consulting roles at Australian Defense Industries and Inference. Watson earned a PhD in Software Engineering and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hull.
