Nils Petersen is the Senior Director of AI Product Management at PTC, where they lead portfolio-wide strategies for third-party AI Agent integration and monetization. As the founder and former CEO of ioxp, they pioneered AI-powered cognitive AR solutions designed to empower frontline workers in manufacturing and service sectors. Nils previously headed the "Cognitive Augmented Reality" group at DFKI and managed software development at Vuforia following the acquisition of ioxp by PTC. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and a Diplom in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe.
