Roy Clarke is a Technical Fellow at PTC with extensive experience as a field engineering consultant specializing in Digital Thread and Digital Twin initiatives, including Industrial IoT and Augmented Reality. They began their career as a Junior Programmer at Data Sciences Ltd from 1992 to 1993, followed by a role as Principal Scientific Officer at the Defence Evaluation & Research Agency from 1993 to 1999, where they led applied research in web technologies. Since 1999, they have provided technical expertise in Product Lifecycle Management and Internet of Things domains, focusing on business development and solution architecture. Roy earned a First Class BSc Hons in Computer Science from The University of Manchester from 1989 to 1992.
