Steve Hunt is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at PTC since November 2015, Steve plays a key role in advancing the Vuforia augmented reality technology across various platforms and devices. Prior to this, Steve held the position of Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm, where leadership in developing and commercializing the Vuforia SDK for iOS was central. With a solid foundation in software development and management gained from previous roles at companies such as Microsoft, Trigenix, and Acorn Computers, Steve has demonstrated expertise in programming languages including C++, Java, and Objective-C, along with a background in embedded systems and web technologies. Steve earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Warwick.
