Jose Antonio Ramirez

Jose Antonio Ramirez is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in physical education and youth development. Currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher at Public Preparatory Network since August 2020, Jose previously held the position of Fitness and Health Department Head at Excel Academy Charter Schools from August 2014 to August 2020, where responsibilities included delivering health and fitness instruction to middle school students, managing departmental meetings, and creating a schoolwide enrichment program. Earlier roles include Transitional Coach at United Teen Equality Center, Marketing Intern at Stonehill College's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, and Athletic Director at El Hogar del Niño, showcasing a strong commitment to student engagement, community connection, and program development. Jose holds a Liberal Arts degree in American History from Stonehill College and has international experience from Universitat de Barcelona.
