John Matthew

John Matthew is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud operations, engineering, and management. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Operations at Public Storage since April 2024, John previously held the role of Director, Cloud, Automation, and DevOps at Red8 from April 2018 to November 2023, leading a team focused on efficient cloud solutions. Prior to that, John managed infrastructure and engineering at Harbor Freight Tools, overseeing a six-member team responsible for implementing advanced technologies. Experience also includes managing systems engineering at Warner Bros. Entertainment and a substantial tenure at NBC Universal, where John held various positions, including Lead Engineer for server automation and Manager of Global Messaging. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.
