Katherine Yip

Katherine Yip is a professional with extensive experience in client services, compliance, and strategy roles within the financial and legal sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Client Services for Corporate Trustee Services at Public Trust since August 2024, Katherine previously held multiple senior advisory positions at the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand from April 2021 to July 2024. Earlier roles include Integrity Adviser at ACC New Zealand, Product Compliance Specialist at AMP New Zealand, and Trade Mark Assistant at Ellis Terry. Katherine's academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Auckland, as well as Professional Legal Studies from The College of Law New Zealand. Additionally, Katherine has participated in a French Summer School program at Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie and has volunteered as a Legal Assistant at YouthLaw Aotearoa.
