Simon Knowles

Simon Knowles has extensive experience in information services and management, currently serving as the Manager of the IS Service Desk at Public Trustee since May 2005, where Simon has led the implementation of ITIL management, managed hardware replacements, and consolidated helpdesks into a single service desk. Additionally, Simon has been the elected Treasurer for Albany Creek State High School P&C Association since March 2015, overseeing the management of funds for the school. Previously, from 2003 to 2005, Simon worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at Public Trustee of Queensland, enhancing Finance One systems. Simon's career also includes significant roles at the Department of Emergency Services, where as Manager of Desktop Support, responsibilities included planning and coordinating the IT Call Centre operations based on ITIL principles. Simon holds a degree in Industrial Relations from BCAE Kedron Park and completed secondary education at St. Anne's RC High School.
