Allison Thompson

Allison Thompson, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Allison is currently the Head of Strategic Finance at a public company, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategic Finance from August 2021 to November 2022, and as a Strategic Finance Principal from April 2021 to August 2021, both at the same public company.

Before joining the public company, Allison worked at Rent The Runway, where they held the position of Senior Manager, FP&A from March 2020 to April 2021, and Manager, Finance and Corporate Strategy from July 2018 to March 2020.

Allison'searlier experience includes working at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where they served as an Equity Research Analyst from March 2017 to June 2018, focusing on analyzing and valuing energy companies. Prior to that, they worked as a U.S. Equity Investment Analyst from July 2014 to March 2017.

Allison's career began with an internship at PwC as an Advisory Intern - Consulting in June 2013. Allison also gained experience as a Reserving Actuary Intern at Tower Group Companies in June 2012.

Throughout their career, Allison has demonstrated expertise in strategic finance, FP&A, equity research analysis, and consulting. Allison'sbackground in finance and actuarial work has provided their with a strong foundation in analyzing and valuing companies in various industries.

Allison Thompson, CFA obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from The Johns Hopkins University from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from William Penn Charter School from 1997 to 2010. Allison has also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2018. Additionally, they have passed Level I, Level II, and Level III of the CFA Program, as per the CFA Institute, in June 2015, June 2016, and June 2017 respectively.
