IT R&D management at Lisam Systems

Dirk Stevens has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dirk began their career as a Researcher at the University of Antwerp in 1988, where they contributed to various research projects until 1991. Dirk then worked as a Software Engineer at Legotronics for two years before joining Hemmis in 1993. At Hemmis, Dirk served as a Senior ExESS IT consultant for over 15 years, playing a crucial role in providing IT solutions to the organization. In 2009, they transitioned to a new role as the IT R&D Manager at Lisam Systems, where they continue to work to this day. Dirk's expertise in IT and research has made him a valuable asset throughout their career.

Dirk Stevens completed their secondary education at Sint Jozefcollege Turnhout between 1973 and 1979. Dirk pursued the study of Latijn-Wetenschappen during this time. Subsequently, they attended KU Leuven, where they obtained a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Electronics in 1986.
