Publicolor is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit based in New York City. Publicolor’s mission is to counter our alarming dropout rate in schools across the country by engaging high-risk students, ages 12-21, in their education through a continuum of design-based programs and academic support.  By empowering students to reach their full potential in college and career, we combat the under-education and lack of job preparedness that fuel poverty.  What makes Publicolor unique—and central to our mission—is the beautification and revitalization of public and civic spaces through the power of color and design, the affordable medium of paint, and collaborations that engage students and the community as a whole.

The Management Team at Publicolor oversees the execution of design-based programs and academic support initiatives aimed at engaging high-risk students. They ensure the effective beautification and revitalization of public spaces through color and design, while also facilitating collaborations with the community to empower students in their educational and career pursuits. This team is responsible for leading site-specific projects, managing fresh coat painting activities, and providing guidance and advice to both students and staff.
