Vera has over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry. Vera began their career as a freelance writer, contributing to various magazines. In 2000, they became the editor-in-chief of GreatLife Magazine. For the next three years, they were responsible for the magazine's editorial content, working with in-house editors and designers, and managing a budget. In 2003, they returned to freelancing, writing monthly sections and feature articles for Let's Live, GreatLife, Get Active, Great Health, and Wellbella magazines. In 2010, they began writing a weekly blog for NewsmaxHealth.com. Vera is currently a projects manager at a publishing company.
Vera's educational career includes studying multimedia production at the University of California, Los Angeles and fine arts at York University.
