Fernando Straface possesses over 25 years of experience in international relations and good governance, having held high-level positions in the Argentine public sector and international organizations. They served as Secretary General and International Relations at the Government of Buenos Aires from 2015 to 2023, where they led the city’s international positioning strategy. Currently, they are the Director General of the Center for International Strategies for Governments and Organizations at Universidad Austral and an executive board member of Puente Holding, contributing to international strategies. Fernando co-founded CIPPEC, one of Argentina's leading think tanks, and has published extensively on international issues. They hold a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from USAL in Argentina.
