Puget Sound Instrument (PSI) provides mission-critical communication and security systems based in Orting, Washington, serving public safety, government, and industrial customers.

Our core focus is MOTOTRBO digital LMR and P25 public safety radio systems. We are a Motorola Solutions Authorized Dealer and MOTOTRBO Elite Specialist (highest tier), with deep expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting systems ranging from single-site operations to multi-site, capacity-based networks with integrated voice and data.

We are also an Authorized Viking P25 provider (Kenwood Viking / EF Johnson), and Viking is a core part of our P25 offering. We support both Motorola and Kenwood Viking platforms, giving customers practical options based on infrastructure, coverage, and long-term operational requirements.

PSI also specializes in low band communications and RF infrastructure, including TPL Systems filtering, combiners, and multicouplers, supporting high-performance and interference-sensitive environments.

In addition, we provide video surveillance solutions using Avigilon and Ava platforms, including cameras, recording systems, and cloud-managed deployments that integrate with broader communication workflows.

Our team supports the full lifecycle: system design, deployment, and ongoing service and support.

We focus on technical accuracy, reliability, and long-term customer relationships, delivering systems that perform in real-world operations where communication cannot fail.
