Malik Samjee has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Malik started their career at Telefonica in 2000, where they worked as a Strategy and Regulatory affairs Senior Analyst. Malik then moved on to become the Head of Pricing and Revenue Management at Telefonica Móviles España, where they focused on maintaining the pricing power of the mobile market leader. Malik later became the Head of Customer Experience at Telefonica España, where they improved customer satisfaction levels and launched a new mobile device insurance business. Malik then held several global leadership positions at Telefonica HQ, including Global Head of Pricing and Revenue Management, Global Head of Loyalty and Customer Value Management, Global Head of Apps Portfolio and Go To Market, and Global Head of Business Analytics and Growth Marketing. In these roles, they worked on various strategic initiatives, such as defining global strategic guidelines, driving insights generation, and identifying global flagship apps. Malik is currently working as the Global Digital Business Insights Director at Puig, where they focus on identifying and analyzing key levers for online revenue growth.
Malik Samjee has a diverse educational background, beginning with two years of highly selective classes at Lycée Louis-le-Grand, where they focused on Mathematics and Physics. Following this, they attended Télécom Paris and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, earning Engineer's degrees in Telecommunications Engineering. To further enhance their skills, Malik pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from IE Business School. Recently, they also obtained a certification in Generative AI learning path from Google Cloud Skills Boost in 2023.
