Tiago Vaz has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tiago began their career as a Business Developer at aicep Portugal Global, where they conducted market analysis in the U.A.E. Tiago then worked as a Product Marketing Specialist at MAB - Artigos de Papelaria LDA before transitioning into a role as a Digital Analyst at Provnet Agencia. Tiago then joined Havas Worldwide Digital as a Digital Analyst Lead, followed by a position as a Senior Digital Analyst at PageGroup. Currently, they work at Puig as the Head of Digital Analytics, overseeing various responsibilities such as ensuring the quality of analytics deliverance, aligning with stakeholders to enhance web features, and leading a team of data engineers and developers. Their expertise extends to platforms such as Google Tag Manager and Google Cloud, and they have successfully deployed projects for well-known brands including Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Tiago Vaz completed their education in a chronological manner. Tiago first attended ISCSP - Instuto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto from 2000 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Marketing. Later, in 2016, they joined The Johns Hopkins University to pursue a Data Science Specialization degree in Data Science, which is ongoing. In addition to their formal education, Tiago has obtained various certifications, including Google Analytics Individual Qualification (in 2015 and 2017), Ecommerce: Scoping Projects (obtained in 2020), and several Coursera certifications in areas such as Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox (all obtained in 2017). Tiago has also obtained a certification in Google AdWords in 2013 and completed the Exponea Academy Fundamentals Course offered by Exponea (acquired by Bloomreach) in 2021. Additionally, Tiago holds a certification in English from the University of Cambridge.
