Nabil Janmohamed has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as the Vice President of Global Field Operations at PULA since January 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Data & Insights at PULA from July 2023. Nabil also worked as a Manager (Payout and Automation) at PULA from January to August 2023, and as an Associate Manager (Claims & Automation) from October 2021 to January 2023. Nabil'searliest role at PULA was as an Actuarial Associate from April 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining PULA, Nabil worked at Ruparelia Consultants Limited (RCL) from July 2016 to April 2020. During their time at RCL, they held the positions of Client Relationship Manager and Actuarial Analyst. As Client Relationship Manager, they contributed to making RCL an award-winning company and spearheaded the marketing and distribution of a digital reinsurance platform. As an Actuarial Analyst, they undertook actuarial valuations for various pension funds and led investment training for bank examiners.

Nabil's earlier work experience includes being a Student Actuary at the University of Nairobi from September 2012 to May 2016. Nabil also held the role of Head of Sports Management at Nairobi Jaffery Youth (NJY) and SAAJ from January 2014 to July 2015, where they resolved conflicts and organized sports events. Additionally, they served as the Chief Whip at N'ASA (Nairobi University Actuarial Science Students Association) from February 2014 to April 2015, where they negotiated with corporates and launched an annual magazine.

Nabil's first professional experience was as a Claims Officer Assistant at Trident Insurance Brokers Ltd from October to December 2011. Nabil also briefly worked as a Hardware and Software Networking Assistant at Techbiz Ltd in June to August 2009, where they were responsible for maintaining server infrastructure and resolving technical issues.

Nabil Janmohamed completed their A-Levels at Jaffery Academy Mombasa from 2009 to 2011. Nabil then pursued an ACCA qualification at Jaffery Institute of Professional Studies from 2011 to 2012. Nabil obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Nabil later pursued a Master's Degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Leicester from 2016 to 2019.
